Online Appraisal

D. Hey I’m a little far from you guys. Just curious on what you guys would offer for this in icg. Thanks.

Asked on Feb 24, 2026

I'd probably be at $1. Now I realize Mr. Hutto might be an important person to some and the Greysheet value of this coin in this grade is supposed to be $900, but I can't buy into the hype over collectible slabs and high grade moderns. You're supposed to buy the coin and not the holder. ICG is in my mind a fine company but doesn't command the respect of NGC and PCGS. Many millions of this coin were minted and there have to be tons of high grade ones out there in mint sets. I apologize if this isn't the answer you want to hear, but Google "Tulip mania" if you want to know the likely future of speculative coin investing.
