D. A friend of mine told me this coin was a rare coin and worth something. I was just wondering if they were correct. If you could please tell me more about this coin I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

What is your friend willing to pay for it? Because I'm afraid all I see is a 1982 cent. They made seven small cents that year, in two alloys, bronze and zinc. All of them are common.
