D. I have had a few people look at this with mixed information! I’m just trying to find out, if this is an error? If so which one is it? And where do I go from here? I have searched all over the Internet and mats pictures with the mints picture And I cannot find another one like mine

What strikes you about it as different from any other quarter of its type?

ADDENDUM: Please try not to take this the wrong way, but it begs the question, "So What"? If you look at a million coins under a microscope and find them all to be slightly different and unique, each is one in a million...but with 999,999 other distinct ones out there, what makes one more special and valuable than the rest? This is what I don't get about the craze in modern minor varieties

Somwone called me today asking about a 1962 double die Jefferson nickel. After I told her this, I looked on ebay and most such coins had sold for under $2 and the highest sale on record was $9.90.  A lot of self-promoting coin ministers are pumping their youtube ratings with this Emperor's-new-clothes craze. Forgive me if i don't support it

It looks as if on my quarter his jacket is open and on his leg there is what appears to be 2 outlines of his leg! On the mint picture it looks as if his jacket is all one piece like a dress and the bottom of it is filled in with no double line on his leg!

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.
