D. So my grandma resently passed and I found this and didn’t know if it was worth something or even what the last number is and it’s been in same spot for years so I’m taking it there’s a reasons he held on too it

I'm sorry for your loss. This coin has post-mint damage. She might have thought it was a mint error, many people are confused by such things. But you can still keep it for the memories!
