Online Appraisal
D. This nickel was found in my coin jar. I've never seen another coin like this and when searching online I only found 1 website I believe on reddit where another person was asking about this because they too had one like mine. What could cause this, what is it called, and is it worth anything?

It’s called “post mint damage.” if you have an auto mechanic, he can explain what you’d have to do with basic tools to do this.
