D. USPS The American Dream; The People, The Hope, The Glory - 1492-1992. This set consists of 25 Sterling Silver 24K gold-plated ingots. The 507 grams of sterling silver equate to 470 grams of pure silver. Struck in proof, like strike and condition, these limited-edition stamps are flawless and a rare collector’s item. They are loosely mounted in a leather display case with a cloth covering for protection. They come with a spatula for removal. The COA certificate is included and is Number 0986. The box and stamps are near prisitine original condition. **THE STERLING SILVER CONTENT IS 507 GRAMS-470 grams of pure silver**

 You should write for an auction company, what a lovely description. Truth be told, "rare" isn't the right word. Most dealers would get at most 90% of the $544 melt value, so the upper end of their offer would probably be $400. The USPS sets can have a little premium, so retail it might be worth $650-700.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.
