Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. It's 1879-cc morgan silver , the cc is in mint conditions only obvious things on it is the front of the coin on the chin besides that no other markings or scratches or wearing
I'm sorry to say that "mint" condition means "as it left the mint." Your coin is well-circulated and damaged from a cleaning; it is far from "mint" condition. Figure $100-125 in value.
D. NY state quarter has 2 bulges on both sides in exact same spot the in god we trust side has a couple of the letters on top of the bulge its dark in color.the bulges are not from anything from something a human could have done its very interesting and prob 1 of a kind thank you

D. 1971 quarter red rimmed On front the letters in liberty are cut off on the top because it is got a raised edge all the way around it
"Red rimmed"? Is that an official term of some kind? Someone did some milling and/or rolling here, to the detriment of this coin. Consider it damage and value it at 25 cents.
D. 1935 no mint indian nickel
Every coin has a mint. If not mark, it's Philadelphia. This is worth fifty cents. We ask people to limit questions to two in number, so forgive us if we don't respond to all of yours.
D. not sure if its an unplated error or..... it is not of uniform thickness nor perfectly round. also appears to have 3 rims. curious as to its value. thanks
I've seen such things. Not sure if real, but sure value is low. It's not a good grade, not a rare date, and not an error of note.
D. 1944 Lincoln Wheat Cent no MM and weighs 2.7 so Im thinking its the steel penny
Doubtful. You can disprove this with a magnet: it won't stick.
D. I have a 1928 wheat cent. The Y in liberty is not facing the correct way. Others have said the Y took a hit and caused it to shift. I do not see that. Looking to find out if this is a mint error or not. Thanks
