SUBMIT AN ITEM FOR FREE APPRAISAL

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. I have had a few people look at this with mixed information! I’m just trying to find out, if this is an error? If so which one is it? And where do I go from here? I have searched all over the Internet and mats pictures with the mints picture And I cannot find another one like mine

What strikes you about it as different from any other quarter of its type? ADDENDUM: Please try not to take this the wrong way, but it begs the question, "So What"? If you look at a million coins under a microscope and find them all to be slightly different and unique, each is one in a million...but with 999,999 other distinct ones out there, what makes one more special and valuable than the rest? This is what I don't get about the craze in modern minor varieties Somwone called me today ...

D. I have found many different versions of the double ear variety! Is this what I have pictured here?

No idea. People don't seem to read where I say on my site that minor modern varieties hold little value and that I really can't help with them. Sorry!

D. I am not For sure but does this look like a 1988D with a Repunched mint mark or possibly doubling of some kind?

You seem to have a good eye for doubling, it looks more like that than repunched to me. Have you actually sold any of these? You might find it a little less engaging unless you have a gift for sales.

D. 2014 dime

Dime of the Baskervilles! Try to spend it if you can get ten cents.
