We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Can you tell me about this

Not sure how many coins are pictured. I think you have a silver 1/4 Franc from early 19th Century, and a token from the 1915 Pan Pac Exposition in San Francisco. The last image looks like a Canadian cent, unless it's the reverse of the token. They are worth $10, $20, and $3, respectively.

D. 2017 D 25c color appear black O.R./2007 10c xtra material /1982 P 25c P DDOR/25c1989 D DDOR

This can happen with normal oxidation. I think interesting colors are cool but it has to be "rainbow" toning to be worth much more.

D. 1999 New Jersey Quarter Major error. Please let me know what you think. Thank you:)

Major? Or Super? Worth 25 cents in New Jersey, and a quarter dollar elsewhere.

D. Hi is this penny worth any money

It may have a book value of a quarter. There used to be a premium for the small date, but it has fallen in value so much that it hardly matters. I've tried for years to tell the difference... and gave up.

D. Possible double die?

Here it is: if you have to ask, it's not enough of a doubling to be worth anything.

D. 2005 Buffalo nickel

A modern design, very abundant, safe to spend.

D. Wondering if this is rare.

No. They made many cents that year in Canada.
