Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.
Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.

I can't tell from the photo whether this is a regular proof set or silver. If regular, it's worth a couple bucks, certainly no more without the packaging and certificate of authenticity. If silver, figure $8-12.

Looks like 1.20 in UK currency. However, upwards of 1/10 of the pound coins are counterfeit and it's my understanding they may not have full value. Don't spend it in one place!

Coins are struck not printed. We ask people not submit these things. It’s possible you have a coin that was struck slightly off-center. Regardless, we did not think it has much value.
