Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.
Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.

D. Found this today and don’t know if it is an error or if it was done intentionally. 1970 p dime, the heads side is worn down, and it has no tails side and smooth. It looks like it has scratch marks on the backside. I’m just unsure.
It’s actually neither an error nor intentional. You are looking at damage.
D. I notice two D stamps on both sides of coin.
I noticed the words one cent on it.

miss coin is about $200 in good if it’s real. It does not, however, look real to me.

Does it seem like a long time ago to you? I just am perplexed why you would submit this.
D. Please let me know if you would like the back view. The picture that includes the two pennies, they are both silver.
I prefer not to have any view of this coin.
D. Lincoln penny has no date struck on it, the word Liberty is missing ibe in it and on the reversed side the letters seem to be double wide in size i.e. Doble die obverse also AM in America touch almost overlapping and on the bottom where ONE CENT is struck the E in one and the c e in cent are only half visible, I have searched and searched and have not found another coin that's remotely similar
I suggest you mail it to the mint for a full refund.
