Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. D. 1963 no mint black beauty error nickel
"Black Beauty" is a term for high-grade mint state specimens. There is nothing beautiful about corrosion. Spend this ugly duckling fast, and try not to make the error of reading nonsense on the Internet. We have lots of accurate info posted on our site, suggest you read our FAQs and tutorials.
D. 1912 China Sun Yat Sen Silver Dollar
This does not look real, I would check the weight. Look up the mass in grams; how does it compare?
D. Penny planchet. Has different markings on it. Letters. I can make out "Liberty". Year and mint unknown. Found it in a jar of old coins given to me buy my uncle.
I would not call this a "planchet." An apocalypse, perhaps.

Hard to tell for certain whether this is authentic, though it looks okay. In this condition, if real, I would value it around $25-40 retail. These are very difficult to sell, it's a narrow collecting niche.
D. Star dollar does it worth anything?
It does worth about $20.
