Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. Why presume an error? Blaming our fine government employees for post mint damage. I think they deserve better!
D. Thank you for the appraisal on the 1873 one dollar gold coin which you said was between 80 and $90. This is a 1937 misprint. The number one is missing on the date or it was stamped sideways. Can you tell me it’s worth. Thank you.
Bills are printed. Coins are struck. No error here. This coin has post mint damage and corrosion. Just a cent.
