Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.
Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.

Dimes after 1964 are copper-nickel and worthy of spending.
D. Germany €10 strike Error
And just how would such a "strike error" occur? This "strikes" us as post mint damage, and nothing more.
D. 1943 -S (Steel) Lincoln Head Cent
2 cents. Really.
D. Bar Kochba, Large Bronze, 133/134 CE The rarest of all Bar Kochba denominations is the large (28-35mm.) bronze, overstruck (and usually weak, with parts of the design or inscription indistinct) on a Roman sestertius. The large size allowed the engravers to inscribe the full name of “Shim’on Prince (Nasi) of Israel” within a wreath. The reverse features an amphora, which Romanoff concludes “was the vessel of oil which nourished the flames of the Temple Menorah (7-branched candelabrum).”
A beautiful description for a coin in rather rough condition. If you can get $3-5 you're doing well.
D. Currency error in my collection for the past 20 years. I’m asking for your appraisal and we can follow up from there. I need to learn more about this currency error. I see that values often run high.
Looks like a good one. Possibly offset and upside down serial. I’d retail at $300.
