Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.
Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.

A lovely specimen of a common coin. I'd charge $5-10 for this but you may have trouble getting that much from a dealer.

We buy common, circulated dates like this for 15-25 cents and sell them for 50 cents to a dollar.
D. Sorry had to put a photo in to send this. HA. Hello, I have an old collection that belonged to my great grandfather. Late 1800s to 1960s I believe. They are in binders and long boxes and some unmounted before he died. Can I photograph them in groups and upload them to Google Drive for evaluation or steer me in the right direction? Not sure how to hand them and neither has my family passing them from one person to another only to sit in their garages for decades.

D. It is a 1977 penny that was only stamped on one side. You can tell it wasn't sanded down. Just never stamped on the back side of the coin.
I’m never sure how to reply when I’m told what I can and can’t tell. What you are describing is simply not a possible consequence of any minting process. I recommend you read our FAQs and try again.
D. This is a 2004 p Roosevelt dime its a big misprint I also have 1982 nickles that have full steps and were graded
Coins are struck, not printed. Yours looks like an unremarkable dime.
