We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. U.S. Coins Last 2 photos are of the same coin and it is also very heavy

Silver dime worth two dollars, flying eagle cent damaged, worth three dollars, dateless nickel worth $10, last one looks like lead and may not be a coin.

D. silver dollars. current value at auction?

No need to auction the silver dollars. Nothing special, worth about $20 apiece. The smaller silver coins multiply by 17 to get the melt value. But you didn’t mention the five dollar gold piece that’s in the wrapper, take it out and you’ve got $500!

D. 1989 d quarter with broken off planchet- not clipped Worth?

Actually neither. It’s good old fashioned post mint damage.

D. Please help me

I see dollars. They are common.

D. Japanese flag brought home by family member after WW 2.

Now THAT'S pretty cool. If I were selling it I'd list it at $350; and I'd take $200. It's a very subjective thing and not our focus but based on similar sales those numbers are reasonable.

D. 2000 P Sacagawea coin

That it is. Our site is pretty clear in the FAQs: Change post-1970 is... drum roll... "money." Spend it in good health!

D. It is a Susan B Anthony D 1979 Dollar
