Questions and Answers

Q. I have a quick questions about Wheat pennies. I recently found a large amount of pennies left to me from my grandmother and i separated them out buy year looking for any of value. I went on line and seen the years that the pennies had value and culled them out. They are circulated and tarnished. Do you appraise coins like these or do they have to be mint condition

Pennies like that from circulation trade for about two cents apiece. We never find rare dates in them. So the short answer is yes unless they are in mint condition they are basically cents.
