Questions and Answers

Q. Sorry if this gets a little long. I have a $5 Gold Canadian maple leaf DDO. The coin has been graded and Attributed by NGC. There were 80,000 coins struck. This coin is also the discovery coin, and as of today is one of one. So I bet you think I'm gonna ask what's it worth, but I'm not. I want to know how to determine the rarity, and if the coin is desirable by collectors. Also here is the cert number. 6898298-001 MS 67. Thank you for your time. Ed ps the coin is a very strong class IV DD. Regards Ed .

Actually, no. What I think is, you skipped the part where I state clearly we aren’t helping with so-called error coins and varieties. The only thing you will “discover” is there is  misinformation posted all over the Internet by those with a financial interest in making you think minor die hub doubling increases the value of anything. Be glad you have an ounce of gold and I’m sorry you’re out the grading fee.
