Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1944 wheat penny the 2nd "T" in trust looks like it's double

We buy common wheat cents for two cents each. I would ask $.50 or a dollar. I don't know what the big hype over doubling is these days, so many people have identified so many different minor varieties that it ends up devaluing all of them.

D. As you can see a 1967 dime just the way i found it looks like he’s got a growth on his forhead

Yes Looks like a tumor. I can't tell if the metal is added like solder or pushed from being hit regardless it's probably damage that I would consider to be of little significant value.

D. Kinda have a little of everything hope you see the errors let me know please

I see the coins but regardless are damage after the mint, not errors. Please disregard limit comment, I realize there's two sets of Jameses. ?

D. Not sure what yr I got it from my grampa when I was a kid

interesting. I just purchased half a dozen bayonets. This is not the focus of my expertise. If I thought it was that old I would probably purchase it for 10 or $15 and try to sell it for 40. Are there any markings on the base of the blade?

D. Found these 20 yrs ago while hunting in Washington out of the town I lived in yacolt wa

Disregard last comment. I see them now very cool. Not my area but I would say they're worth 100 or 200 apiece. Problem is, if it was taken from public land it probably wasn't legal to take it, and it was taken from private land you probably didn't have permission. If you can document the right to owning them, it helps.

D. The 5 on date and on back American the letters run together

This does not mean much in a circulated coin.

D. The word American

It reads "America." Remarkable but true.
