Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. I'd like to know if interested in more pics plz let me know. 1920 s walking liberty

Okay Midas, spend the copper nickel coins from 1971 forward. That half is $10 on a good day.

D. 1919 Canadian one cent

A novelty... perhaps a quarter.

D. 1884 morgan s silver dollar

I love the pricing curve in this coin. In mint state 60 it's $7,000. In Fine, as yours is, about $30.

D. 1995 limination quarter

This is not a "lamination" error. This is a horribly damaged quarter with a great amount of wear. Lamination errors occur when surface metal sloughs off the planchet due to production flaws. I'm just beside myself that anyone, regardless of their experience, would look at this coin and think it has any value beyond 25 cents.

D. Old coins

To get the value of common date silver quarters like these with heavy wear, multiply face value by $20 now that silver is about $27/ounce. So that makes the dime $2 and the quarter $5. All coins dimes and higher are 90% silver before 1965.

D. 1878-S 7 feather morgan silver dollar

Scratches suggesting an unfortunate cleaning suggest this lovely nearly uncirculated dollar is worth $25-30. Never clean coins!

D. No mint mark. Would like to know more about this coin thanks!

It was born the same year as me. No mint Mark means it was minted in Philadelphia. I'm Marc. I suppose you can call me Mint Marc. We're both common, however, the coin is just a cent. I'll take the Fifth on my own value.

D. 1969 s penny

It takes a certain amount of skill to produce a coin damaged this much but still recognizable.
