SUBMIT AN ITEM FOR FREE APPRAISAL

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Looks like a shadow of lincoln s head

I agree with Heritage, this is about $4,999.99 below their $5,000 minimum.

D. A 1906 Indian head penny broadstruck on both sides

That it may be... but not worth more than $3-5 as such!

D. 1936 buffalo nickel possible doubled die reverse has no mint mark date is visible on obverse of coin

Fifty cents to a dollar. The only double dies we give a premium to are the dramatic ones.

D. 1927

$18-20 retail.

D. 1964 nickel with d on the back and other errors

"D" is a mint mark that denotes that the coin was minted in Denver. It is not an error. This nickel i'd not old enough or rare enough to be worth much more than face value.

D. 7 mace and 3 candareens Chinese coin

A denomination I just love! Mostly commonly has a retail price in the neighborhood of $20. It's silver, but has some numismatic value beyond the metal conent.

D. FINALLY, a 1982 LARGE DATE that weighs 2.5! What are the odds. Came across this while weighing all my 1980's!

The odds are excellent. In 1982 they switched composition ot 2.5 g zinc. As for the "large date," all dates look the same size to me... and I don't see them fetching different values. So you have yourself... a nice cent!

D. 1945 mercury dime

Don't see the picture... if uncirculated, original, and full bands, you have a coin worth over $1,000! But you don't. Yours is certainly worth about $2. Gotta love it!
