SUBMIT AN ITEM FOR FREE APPRAISAL

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1929 wheat penny

One of the more common ones... we purchase common date circulated wheat cents for 2 cents each, though you might have to pay a dollar to get one from this year.

D. 1922 peace dollar

We see many from this early year, they are worth about $20, mostly for the silver content.

D. Nazi coins found in a coin collection I inherited. I actually have three such coins. I'd like to sell them if possible.

It has a nominal amount of silver, perhaps about $5 or so. I steer clear of these unless it's part of a larger collection, just can't get past the bad karma. I'm sure you will find an eager buyer.

D. 1954 Canadian two dollar bill

With the ink mark, it's just two dollars in Canada, and with the exchange rate, less here.

D. Mexican 500 peso dollar not sure if year

Common, we purchase for a few cents and sell for a dollar. Inflation kills the value.

D. March 32,1863 gold US banknote

I think you have a modern reproduction here. But if it's old and authentic we'd love to buy it with the others!

D. An mule error coin 21/2 D gold 1906 coin. Instead of united states of america Nuum satase of aemrica is printed. It is 's' mintcoin

It's so horribly mutilated I don't know how you can determine it's a mule. If authentic, you can get a couple hundred bucks for the gold.

D. 4 coins i know they are worth something...

Yes... but just face value, you can spend or deposit them in good health.

D. Hey 2000 South Carolina misprint coin quarter US Quarter how much is that in value I'm great at at

This quarter is damaged. No misprint is evident. The most common questions we get are about errors. There are plenty of books on the topic if you want to learn about it.
