Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. I have more I have every 1940s but 1943, 1948 .. I have all 1950s all 1960s-1980s which I believe some I have are also errors

We buy common wheat cents for two cents. Jeffersons are face value unless wartime silver with the mint mark above the reverse dome 1942-5, about a buck. Buffalos worth about a quarter if date is readable. A dime if not.

D. Lincoln penny U.S

Only a mother could luv.

D. Rb off centered rim is of DDO

See our comments on DDOs and other fables at hvcoins.com, top center, what it's worth.

D. 1982 d copper sm date

You have a U.S. cent.

D. Older Canadian one dollar bills. Any value....

My first reaction was these are just Canadian dollars. But the 1954 may be a "devil's face" variety, legend has it the designer hid a devil's face in the Queen's hair as a political statement and when he got called on it they quickly changed the design. It's not been verified this is true. And your bill is so worn that at most it would be worth $5. But what a fun story!

D. Susan b anthony 1979 Blob mark

Sounds like a "type 1" mint mark worth $1. The "clear" s type 2 can be worth $50 but as a high grade proof.

D. Are any of these coins of any value i believe i see doubling on some of the coins. Is that correct?

We steer clear of the "doubling" hype in most modern coins. Hard to tell and not really worth much more.

D. Is this a 1964 SMS penny it looks like it's in excellent condition

Doubtful. SMS is a production type not a condition. You're not gonna find it floating around in regular change.

D. This is a 1963 penny I have that looks like it's in excellent shape

1963-D. I recall an ms70 1963 cent went for $40,000. Yours, however, is closer to a cent. They made a lot of them.
