Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Wheat back pennies

These have two cents of copper each in them and aren't worth substantially more.

D. 1878 silver dollar coin

You're showing the front of the Morgan Dollar and the reverse of a different dollar, made after 1920. The heavy cleaning on these coins renders them down to their silver value, $20 apiece.

D. Is this coin worth anything it seems to be worn on both sides

Just its face value. Looks Australian ans may be valid.

D. 1952 penny and the other is a dollar coin

After careful study we conclude you have $1.01.

D. I'm thinking a few of those might be worth something can u please help me e

Though we ask people to limit their complimentary appraisals to one or two items, i can say with confidence these are all worth face value.

D. 1999 dime with defects. I can't find another one like it.

I can. Someone just asked about a similarly damaged quarter.

D. I cant really show what may be an error through a picture. But to help understand if the coin is facing right side up the back is upside down going in the other direction

This is "coin" orientation. Medal orientation is when both sides are aligned the same. Nothing unusual here, it's what one should expect.

D. 2013 d New Hampshire White Mountains error quarter

Deep scratch evident, nothing bringing value past a quarter.

D. Error Jefferson Nickle 201x, blank reverse - same coin

This coin has been worn/ground down following its release from the mint. It is not more than face value.
