Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Error Roosevelt dime is all I know so I was hoping someone could tell me if it might be worth sending in for grading

Mistake... by someone after the mint. Not sure what's happening here. Looks like someone removed the nickel outer shell revealing the underlying copper.

D. Inverted strike on reverse

Not sure what you mean. A $10 large cent. The reverse might have a slight die rotation but it's not clear from the photos.

D. 1893 Columbian half dollar.

The first, and one of the most common, commemorative halves, worth perhaps $12-14 retail.

D. 1988 D Lincoln penny

And we set this aside... why?

D. Lincoln pennies factory errors.

OMG someone please put me out of my miserly.

D. 1926 no mint mark rim error

Rim damage. 10-15 cents.

D. Apparently looks like severe planchette error. Can also see circle on face side where maybe a dime planchette used. No letters or dates hardly visible ...what may my coin be worth?

Either 25 cents or 4 dollars. No error here, someone engraved it or mutilated it. I can't tell if it's silver but it looks it.
