We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1832 dime in excellent condition

You can call it that, there is no "excellent" in the coin grading scale. But I'd say it's an original Very Good, lovely, I'd love to own it for $25, it would retail around $35-40.

D. !1849 large half cent in very excellent condition.

Most very excellent! Or at least fine. $20.

D. Hi, this is a 2009 District of Columbia Duke Ellington Quarter. I wanted to know how much it was worth because it looks like it is made of two different materials. Thank you, really appreciate it!

Probably environmental damage but I'd like to see it in person to rule out a missing layer of nickel. That would make it an interesting error in the $50-100 range.

D. Any value in this coin? I seen it has double stamping on the letter B in "Liberty" and is missing the letter I in "In God We Trust."

It's suffering from wear and damage, that double stamping is more of a stomping. Spend away.

D. 1799 Draped Bust Silver Dollar

A little too nice to be real.

D. A very unique error Lincoln cent.

Unique perhaps, but the only error here is calling it an error. It's damaged, plain and simple.

D. 1981 Lincoln cent rare error. Lincoln's chin...

Oy gevalt, the only error here is calling this an error.

D. Sacagawea X's 3 P

Unless you have the "cheerios" variety, which is unlikely, these are just dollars you can spend.

D. 1926 & 1941 Dimes

$2 each, mostly for their silver.
