Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Page 2

Common, but nice. Probably $20-30 in value.

D. Silver Fifa coins

This are usually worth... their weight in silver. Appears to be about 2 1/2 ounces, by my estimation. With gold at $24 an ounce, figure $60. Yes they are beautiful and maybe they didn't make too many... but there's a lot of silver out there.

D. I found in a jar full of pennies what I believe to be a 1996 wide am cent. There is considerable space between letters. Also the fg is closer to the memorial. These conditions are not caused by corrosion.

Put it back in the jar, and back out of the apartment very slowly, without turning anything on or off. Just kidding. I don't do much in modern varieties but I would say with the level of wear it has it is basically a penny. If you can get more than that you can call yourself a coin dealer.

D. 1944s wheat penny

This probably has a book value of $.50 or a dollar. But we buy them in bulk at twice face value.

D. Any errors 1966 no mint mark quarter

I don't know exactly what it is but it is not an error. Very strange! It's almost like a die. I would need to see it in person.

D. It’s a 1943 B penny

That's a D for Denver. A nice specimen, give it to a kid!
