Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1967 Bicentennial Quarter with a smashed D I am wondering about value. Thank you

25 cents. Damaging coins adds no value to them, and possibly detracts from their value.

D. please need some idea on this 1966 rare Quarter

Payphone? parking meter? They made 800 million.

D. 1969 d double die penny

1969-s single die cent.

D. 1881 US Five Dollar coin, 1899 Russian coin, 1886 Venezuelan coin, 1930 Venezuelan coin, 1967 Venezuelan coin

You have at least a couple thousand dollars worth of gold worthy of an appraisal. My appraisals are very affordable and family friendly why don't you call me.

D. It’s an old quarter

No, it's a new dollar.

D. Hi this 2 quarters seem to weigh less than the other quarters are they valuable?

The one on the left is made out of silver and so it's worth a couple dollars. The one on the right is probably just worn. They made them out of silver up until 1964.

D. 1982D copper Lincoln penny.

Looks damaged. We stopped responding to inquiries about modern error coins, except for genuine errors in uncirculated specimens. Mostly people are submitting ordinary coins with damage or such minor variations in the minting process that they are at best worth face value.

D. 1935 penny

We buy bulk wheat cents at two cents apiece. This is a common date.

D. 1982 Washington Rare Quarter year

It's not a rare year. The mintage was marginally lower. If it were uncirculated it would be worth more than face value, but yours shows wear and is just a spendable quarter.
