SUBMIT AN ITEM FOR FREE APPRAISAL

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Yes, i found this penny in a dumpster all by it self. I dont know what is wrong with it, but it doesnt look like a normal penny.

Go back and look for more coins. It's an error coin, off struck by 50%. Not worth a lot but maybe they threw out some double eagles too.

D. 2006 Australian 5 cent has been stuck at least ten times with a partial brokage and rotations on both sides very unique could you tell me more if you can see photos if ya zoom in you can see

If you're gonna copy technical terms from the Internet and apply them to worthless worn coins, at least spell them right. It's "brockage."

D. 1889 Morgan One Dollar coin

It looks funny. It may have been cleaned or may not be real. At most it's worth $25-30. If it sticks to a magnet, or does not weigh close to 26.7 g it's not real.

D. Misprinted date

How else would you print "1945"? Or are you referring to the ding?

D. Are these more valuable then just .25¢?

No. 1964 and earlier are silver. Not these.

D. 1970 d over s nickel

How can you tell? Heavy wear. Fuzzy photo.
