We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Why is so glittery

"chewed up" would be a better description. because it's damaged.

D. 1941 nickel

Most Jefferson nickels are just a nickel.

D. I have this 1982 Washington quarter with a large protrusion on the obverse and reverse. Any idea what kind of error this is?

Human error... at least it is to assume this is an "error" coin. I know of no damage like this that would take place before coins leave the mint. I suspect it was struck or heated during circulation.

D. Not sure but believe it is a error coin

Very sure it is not. I'm amazed you don't look at this coin and see how worn and damaged it is. No process at the mint would cause such an appearance.

D. 1882 1884 1887 Morgan dollars 1884 has o others nothing 1964 jfk half dollar

I believe you posted these already! They are all 90% silver, total about $80.

D. Just curious wanting to sale

Your Morgan dollars are worth about $25 each.

D. Buffalo gold coins

If these are one ounce gold buffaloes they are probably $1900-2000 each. Are you looking to sell?

D. 1804 silver dollar no mint mark. I've read a lot on this coin and just wondering what it's value is I've read it's quite a bit . Thank you, Nicole

Very famous, this dollar, worth millions of dollars. You can google it. Yours isn't real. You have a poorly cast copy.
