Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Could this beautiful coin be the 1960 D/D small date over large. Also what may be the value of this coin
Beats me. You clearly skipped our submission criteria, where we explain that we don’t handle minor varieties. I don’t think it matters with this cent.
D. Good day. My name is Irina. I found a coin . It is 1987 p quarter. Part of the president's nose is missing. The left wing has metal intrusion. I know very little about errors of coins and make a mistakes.
What we see on this coin is typical of circulation wear. It should not be interpreted as a mint error.

D. 1972 Roosevelt US dime. Philadelphia mint (no mark). I believe this coin is missing its clad layer and i would love input on a fair asking price.
It's probably not missing it. They can tone dark like that when subjected to environmental damage. And even if it's missing, it's regarded as damage. I just removed the clad layer from one today as a demonstration, comes off easily with the right acid! So you're looking at ten cents of value. Sorry!
D. It's an error but it's got Lincoln memorial on reverse with shield and can't tell on front
