We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1942 Wheat Penny with no mint mark and rare error "L" edge

The mint is Philadelphia. We sell these for 2-5 cents. If you think it’s rare you can send it for certification, but I see no error or anything that makes this rare. We ask people not to submit such varieties raw, as they are wrong about the identification over 99% of the time.

D. 1941 Wheat Penny, no mint mark.

The mint is Philly. We buy these for two cents, sell for four... when we can!

D. 1948 Lincoln Wheat cent (no mint mark)

Well circulated and common, give it to a kid!!

D. 1970s penny. Appears slightly smaller than a 2015 dime and slightly thicker than a 2020 nickel

That's what happens when someone bangs in the rim. You have a damaged cent.

D. 1989 quarter no mint mark bubbles all over front and back

Submit to Dr. Pimple popper? Or redeem for 25 cents at the bank.

D. Trying to find out if my 2 dollar bill would be worth more than its current value.

How could anything be worth more than its value? But we're getting philosophical. It's just $2 if that's what you are asking!

D. I want to know how much it is worth

If you look closely to the left of lady liberty you'll see "$1." That's pretty accurate.

D. That one more of my coin

Pardon? Looks like a ten heller coin, the Swiss equivalent of a dime.
