Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 2017-p mint mark Missouri state quarter with lettering not stamped on it good and gouges in it front and back ,off center and discolored.

You’ve said it all. It’s an unattractive damaged quarter. Any reason we’re not spending it?

D. 18k Gold Mens 21.00mm Coin Ring With A $2.50 Liberty Head Gold coin

Worth around $350. Unfortunately coins are essentially destroyed by jewelry.

D. 1992 closed AM penny. My phone # is 217 742-2464

This is a joke, right? if you can get one cent for this horribly damaged coin, then spend it. We tend to not evaluate coins that that are already describe in our FAQs and tutorials. As withthe other one you submitted, we encourage you to read these

D. 1934 us quarter with possible error

No error. Worthy of melting for $3-4.

D. 1959D double die Lincoln has a outline around his head , the coin also has other errors

No errors on this unremarkable cent. The 1955 has the famous doubling.

D. 1857 flying eagle error?? and a 1943 large P nickle

I don’t understand why people look at a damaged coin and blame it on the mint. I would value it at $5-7. The silver nickel is worth a buck.

D. 1979 linlcoln cent , missing l in liberty and no memorial

I’m not sure why you’re submitting this coin. If you read our submission criteria and tutorials you will see, it’s essentially face value.

D. Just trying to sell if worth anything

Well, worth a little more than the holders. The dollars are just dollars and you can spend. The quarter has four dollars of silver.
