SUBMIT AN ITEM FOR FREE APPRAISAL

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.

D. 2017 misaligned serial number

Unremarkable, I'd spend. Not sure what you mean by misaligned.FOLLOW UP: Now I see that the last digit on the left number is slightly high. It is not uncommon for the wheels to be slightly out of line, and can't say there would be any premium for such a minor issue. Errors need to be more dramatic to have value.

D. 1992 D Close AM Penny

Unremarkable, I'd spend.

D. Silver certificate

Very close to its face value.

D. 2021 $5 with overprinted serial numbers that you can see both ink through the other side

Errors usually need to be more dramatic than this... not seeing it from the photos but maybe in person it presents itself more fully.

D. 1937 D Buffalo Nickel 4-legged

This is the common variety, under a dollar.

D. Star note $1 bill 2013 serial#00121156 I got it with someone name already wrote on it.

You have a dollar there. Star replacement notes simply mean an earlier note was damaged in production and destroyed.

D. 1943 Wheat Penny

Under a dollar; and yours may have been plated. These are made out of steel for the war effort.

D. 1957 silver certificate

Most small size notes are close to face!

D. 2008 D Oklahoma State Quarter error coin with missing clad on both sides

I’m loathe to blame our hard-working federal employees for post mint damage.

D. Hi I was hoping you could let me know if these are worth grading . Thank you

NO NO NO! Common coins should NOT be graded, you'll lose your money.
