D. Silver Dollar (Bicentennial)

This is copper nickel, not silver. We sell them for $1.50-2 at shows, give to kids, or use them as tips.

D. Gold coin

Sorry slow to respond, enjoying the Verizon outtage; and I accidentally deleted one photo, but I recall you said this was a gold eagle. Gold is $4,615 today. Dealers generally sell them around spot, possibly with a small premium, and buy them a little under. So you should get $4,500 give or take. I put you in my contacts, please reach out if you want to visit us with any coins or jewelry.

D. 1943 Steel wheat Penny

They made hundreds of millions at each mint. It's the only united states cent you can lift with a magnet. And it's worth about a dime.

D. Trying to find out what my 5.00 silver certificate is worth.

Someone tried to spend it and with that yellow test stain it's pretty close to face value.

D. Hello my Name is Norma. someone recommended me to you here name is Laura i just would like to know if you are interested in these items and what does it worth. Thank you so much

I’m interested. If they are Sterling silver they are valuable. I’d have to examine them. Please call me area coda 914, phone 649-3317. Marc

D. 2020 Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller Quarter

If you read our tutorials, we treat all coins after 1970 from circulation as face value.

D. Dime

Looks like a mangled ten cents. If 1964 or earlier it has five bucks of silver. If you can't tell, look at the edge; reddish copper means not silver.

D. Dear Mark, As you suggested, I am sending on behalf of my seven-year-old grandson, Ilan, two coins (front and back) which he would like an evaluation. I will forward your response to him. Thank you for your time.

The 1964 half is 90% silver. As of today, Jan. 24, that coin has $37 of silver in it. Now, dealers are paying considerably less than that because of market risk and the need for profit. So you would probably get $20 if you sold it. The Sacagawea dollar is worth face value. I spend these. There is a Cheerios variety with crosshatched tail feathers that is most valuable in uncirculated condition. You have no evidence yours came from such an origin; the feathers don't look like they have that featu...

D. this 2015 Canadian 1.5 ounce silver coin looks like it has a minor die chip error it does not look like a scratch to me but i need a second opinion https://torontogoldbullion.com/1-5-oz-silver-canadian-maple-leaf-coin-2015.html here's the coin for comparison

It does not look like a die chip error; such errors usually lead to a raised blob with fewer features, when the metal flows into the chip. However I am not an error/variety expert. Even if it is such an error, it is as likely to reduce the value of the piece as add. They have careful minting specifications in Canada, making such a mistake unlikely, and undesirable to most collectors. Errors need to be more dramatic to add value.
