We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1880 Dollar Coin. Kept away for more than 50 yrs.

$20-25. If the mint mark under the eagle is CC, $100. (It's not. ?).

D. Any value? I916 Indian head..

Book value a buck or two. They made a lot.

D. 2000 Maryland quarter Either a die break or a foreign object stamped into it

This quarter has been mutilated. If you're lucky you'll get twenty five cents for it. BTW, die breaks are breaks in the die, into which the metal of the planchet flows. So the result of a die break would be a raised ridge, rising above the surface of the coin; not a deep ridge going into it. You have something entirely different going on here, and it has nothing to do with the original production process.

D. 1901 gold 10 dollar coin

A lovely eagle! $875!

D. 1966 quarter

If it were 1964 it would be silver. Yours is a quarter.

D. 1928 wheat penny. Whats it worth?

We buy common wheats for two cents each. It shows corrosion, so not very collectible.

D. I have some very fine examples also have box sets of 2 and 4 reales and 4 and 8 reales

These are tough to price. I'd say the one you are showing is around $200 in value. They get sold for high values by third-party sellers but hard to regain investment.

D. 1896 penny 2.6 gr non magnetic looks silver

Doubtful. Copper can wear thin, and gets different colors from oxidation.
