D. Is this error coin? There is upside down D below date & sideways S at Lincoln's chin

No. Perhaps another coin struck over it but would not classify as an error.

D. The back of this dime is missing a lot of it.

Could be struck through grease... could be heavy wear/damage.

D. ?

Is there a question?

D. 1795 silver dollar

These are often counterfeited. Would like to see picture, know weight in grams. m.r.

D. 1902 penny and two 1941 dimes

The cent is probably worth around fifty cents to a dollar, retail, if in typical circulated condition. The dimes are worth a couple bucks each, as they are silver.

D. I tried uploading more photos but it wouldn't let me. This is a 1897 V cent. It has got melted onto it and also stamped. It also looks as if it was stamped with another coins stamp.

You seem to have identified it properly. We in the coin community are not fond of coins that have been melted, or have cheese-like substances melted on them. Back in 1897, this coin would have bought you that cheese sandwich. Now, with inflation, it's barely worth a nickel.

D. I was told this was not an error but it seems like it to me ....thank you for your time

It's a 1985 cent, and appears to be minted properly. What about it suggests an error?
