Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.
Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.

D. Double die on numbers
Actually, you can see it more than most of the nonsense that gets submitted here. But not dramatic enough to be of significant value.
D. 2000 P dime, appears to be an error but I am not sure. Appreciate any guidance as to whether to keep this coin if it has any value. Thank you.
Very interesting, looks like a bottle cap... but need to see, it could also be damage!
D. 1884 S morgan silver dollar. High grade .key date. ( couldn't send more pictures)
While by no means a key date, this may be a condition rarity. Could be an AU worth $250-500; need to see obverse.

Looks doctored in Chemistry class.
D. Im asking if it can be determined whether the "peeling" or secondary layer on the face is a minting error or has wear caused this appearance?
Could be what's called a "lamination" error, thought this has very little value.

They made five or six and they are worth a million dollars. Unfortunately she has the wrong smile and is not real.
