Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Looks doubled not sure

So think about it logically: if you're not sure, then it's not dramatic enough to add value. Look up the 1955 double die, and you'll see what it takes for there to be real value.

D. 1934 steel penny

Would have to be 1943. Corroded, just a couple cents.

D. 1982 quarter with an error

Even if there was a picture I'm confident there is no error.

D. 1967 no mint struck error

No apparent error. Mint is Philadelphia.

D. 1971 no mint mark half dollar coin

No mint is Philadelphia. Just worth half a dollar, they made many.

D. 1953D wheat penny

Ordinarily we purchase common-date wheat cents at two cents apiece. This one has been cleaned, which detracts from the value.

D. 1991 quarter

A coin that recent would be worth face value: 25 cents.

D. Miss print quarter.

Mis-spelled diagnosis.
