Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. Just a nickel in this grade, perhaps 50 cents to purchase.
D. 1937 buffalo nickel
"Book" value may be a dollar, but we sell these at shows for 25 cents or less, so we pay 10-15 cents for these in bulk!
D. 1897 v nickel
We sell these for a dollar at shows.
D. 2000 p sacajawea gold cheerio
I doubt it, did YOU get it in a box of Cheerios? I have to see the back to tell for sure.
D. I bought a soft drink from a small, privately owned convenience store in the early 1990's, and I got this penny as part of my change.
Yeah it's been through some rough times, not sure what to make of it. Looks like someone tapped the edge a bit. More of a novelty than a rarity.

Buffalo nickels with clear dates fetch about fifty cents at coin shows. Do you want to sell a collection?
D. 1912 no mint wheat penny in good shape
No mint mark means Philadelphia. Worth a dollar or two at most.
D. 1989 quarter appears to have foil around edge.
Not sure what to make of it, perhaps someone's lunch? The mint tends not to do this. Collectors used to put coins in foil to preserve them, the aluminum reacts more than the coin itself, protecting it from impurities. In any event nothing of great value that I see here.
D. I have a limited set of Presidential gold coins from the Charleston Mint. The frame includes Presidents George Washington through George Bush Sr. It has a booklet with it of each president on the coins. I was trying to find out what this might be worth. Thank you.
These private mint issues are not worth a lot. I'd buy it for $5 and sell it for $25.
