Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1967 (no mint mark) Washington Quarter.

It's from the Philadelphia mint. Just an ol' quarter I'm afraid, not worth more.

D. "UNITED" only has the "u" and the "d"

Figure a dollar in value, maybe less given the heavy wear you describe.

D. 2006 P Dime

The giant dent keeps it in the range of 9 to 11 cents in value.

D. 1979d Susan B Anthony Dollar Common or miscenter, etc.?

Not sure what a miscenter is. You have a dollar here!

D. 2003 dime, circulated . Sorry for the quality of the photos. Thanks

The photos make it look bent, smushed, scratached, and damaged. I suspect better photos aren't going to make it a better coin, however; you can spend this!

D. 2001 North Carolina quarter and it looks to have no Finnish on it

As in... a coat of varnish? Spend this puppy! It's just a quarter.

D. This 1964 penny appears to be double stamped on one side and not on the other. Thank you for your time.

It's nothing if not creative. It's probably a coin with one side worn off that had a second one pounded into it. Doubling leads to two images of the same side, not opposite sides coinciding. Look closely: is the memorial the same as on other cents, or inverted horizontally? Are the raised features the same as on other cents, or opposite (i.e., if a column is raised on a regular cent, is it raised on yours or a depression?). An inversion would suggest the banging of two coins together; a coin str...

D. Missing the in. In god we trust

Worn off, not missing. $20.

D. 1966 quarter dollar weight below 5.3 g . Damage at eye? Seems cracked complete thru coin? Would appreciate opinion. Drop sounds different , thanks for your time

Everything you describe is typical of a quarter that is very worn. Spend it. Now, the dateless standing liberty quarter next to is is worth around $4 for the silver it contains!
