Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1943 steel penny 1835 gold liberty dime

The Penny is only worth about $.50. On a good day. The dime is more interesting but it's hard to see from your picture. It may have some environmental damage, which would put it at about five dollars.

D. 1972 no mint mark

No mint mark means it was made in Philadelphia. Back then there was no "P."

D. 1972 D dime

Amazing, disguised as 1984. Who knew??

D. 1dime 1976

1976 dimes are worth ten cents, give or take.

D. silver certificate

This and the other small size silver certificates you submitted are essentially old money. There's no appreciable premium beyond face value unless it's truly crisp in circulated. Spend or deposit them!

D. $2

Just two dollars, it's face value.

D. 10 Kronur

I didn't appraise your notes individually because there's so many of them and they're worth very little, having damage from tears soiling and writing, and devalued and rendered worthless by the euro. Sorry!

D. 100 Frank ?

As with many foreign bills like the ones you have, this is common and not very valuable. Though collectible, there are many available with damage, handwriting, and no monetary value due to inflation or replacement by the euro.
