Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Any value? How much

Wow when did 2009 turn historic? Spend it!

D. A 1979 SBA siver dollar D mint

Just a dollar, its face value.

D. 1882 83 s

Looks suspicious, may not be real. And if it is it's only $20 on a good day.

D. 1966 penny

I am from 1964 and I am priceless. Your coin is somewhere between one cent and priceless. Closer to the lower end.

D. 1878, 1879, 1881, and 1898 silver dollars in mint state condition

These are unquestionably not mint state. Combination of wear and cleaning evident. Without knowing the mint mark I'd guess common and worth about $20 apiece. The mint marks on the back under the eagle would tell me more...

D. Backside of pennies and nickels

This group is $5-10. The silver nickel worth a dollar; the off-center error a few more.

D. Hawaii quarter I put a pic of it on scale with a nickel as well as alone so you could see weight is accurate.

Yes I saw that. What you have pictured is worth about $10. That's $9.75 for the scale, and $.25 for the quarter.

D. Image did not go through the first time. Hawaii quarter 5.9g. As you can see from photos scale is correct.

Umm... yes a quarter! Did you have a question about it? Second reading looks wrong.

D. I have a few coins like this. I’d like to send multiple images.

If the mint is common, this would retail for about $250. The mintmark, if present, is on the reverse at bottom below the eagle. But you have gold, why don't you call me at 649-3317 (Area code 914). I'll give it some extra attention. Marc
