Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Hair clip its kinda heavy and looks siver

If marked .925 or Sterling may be worth $20. But it may not be silver at all.

D. 1984 half dollar some of the E is covered up with his hair

Spend. I see multiple submissions from you, we'll read them but usually limit answers to one or two.

D. Dimes different dates and some rainbow color

Prior to 1965, Roosevelt dimes are silver and worth $1.70. After that you can spend them.

D. 1944 D Steel Wheat Penny

It's copper. If you can lift it with a magnet it's steel and I'll pay $1,000.

D. Are these 1942 dimes the error dimes that the 42 overlap the 41

I don't think so. Certainly not the one on the left. The one on the right isn't too promising. You could get it certified but I would not recommend it.

D. 1945 d wheat penny

Wheats are worth 1-2 cents apiece on average, at least when circulated and common.

D. 1994 d multi strike penny

More like multi-smashed. It looks like the space between the columns on the secondary image is raised, suggesting another cent was crushed into it with pressure, not of great interest to us, you can do that with a hammer on your own.
