Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Fair condition

Scratches from cleaning bring this down to about fifty cents on a good day.

D. Vintage coins silver1888 dollar 1936.1942,half dollar Gold Martin van bitten Gold Thomas Jefferson liberty dollar

Stamps essentially worthless. 1966 half three dollars, other halves six dollars, silver dollar twenty. Spend the modern dollars. Interesting thing about that 1884-S half: If it were uncirculated it would be worth $7000. But it's not.

D. Hi! Just wondering if this Gimbels Secretary Desk is something that you deal with? Thank you in advance! Debbie!

No. Dark furniture is out of fashion, list on craigslist and take $25 if you can get it.

D. 2014 5c US nickel broad strike weak obverse Broad strike Weak reverse. Very rare find

All we see from photos is heavy circulation wear and damage. For a broad strike to be of value, the coin should be essentially new, and the error should be dramatic.

D. One quarter has a hump in the center it’s like it has something inside the middle of the quarter and the other quarter is a good bit thicker than a normal quarter and is not as big around as a normal quarter and it caused it to not finish all the details in the center of the coin and they were printed this way not altered after being made

Most likely one was tapped or rolled so the reeding flattened out, which adds no value; and the other was used for target practice. Wondering if the smooth-edged one has a slightly lower diameter, which is what would be expected. It's looking like you have fifty cents here!

D. 1990 penny no mint mark just want to know if it's worth anything

Not beyond face value, no. The absence of a mint mark in older coins means it was minted in Philadelphia.
