Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Is rare sacgawea coin

Actually they made millions. Spend this dollar!

D. 1944 no mint mark. Coin strike?

You can get this effect with wire clippers. Does not add value.

D. 1994 D Jefferson. Found this in my change today. I can take more pics if you need them.

I would put it back into your change, they made an awful lot of them!

D. This is a one of a kind error. The "0" of one on the reverse has such an obvious error on it. I can't find a similar error on any coin regardless of age and demonination.

It is one of a kind, unless you count the million or so other coins out there with what we call "digs," damage caused by a hard, sharp object like an awl. UPDATE, I am revising my answer, in response to "Marc, out of the 20+ people that saw the coin( including the coin dealer that offered me $250) you are the only one that didn't agree that it's so obvious that it's a mint error. It would take more th...

D. Early American silver dollars

Actually closer to the middle of our history, this 1878 Morgan Dollar is the first year they were minted. You probably have the more common seven tail feather variety, minted in Philly. and worth about $25; if you count an 8th tail feather, add $50.

D. Roosevelt dimes,years 65,67,68,75

All dimes after 1964... should be spent.

D. Eisenhower Memorial Collection 1776-1976 DRW

Nicely packaged coins worth $1 each!

D. The John F Kennedy Story

I can tell by the color the first dollar may be 1964, which is 90 percent silver; or 1965-70, which is 40 percent silver. We buy the first kind for $6, and the second, for $2, and sell them for a little more at shows. Any newer, spend.
