Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. Hello, I have a 1964 Denver minted Jefferson nickel. I understand post damage but what I found is very defined line on the reverse side of the coin in “America” the C wraps underneath of the A. I was really hoping for your opinion on if it was an error and what it might be worth. Thank you very much for your time. - also I attached a comparison with another ordinary 1964 nickel.
Add this to your knowledge of post mint damage. even if it had something to do with the minting process this coin is too worn to have anything beyond face value.

Please I implore you not to grade this coin. It's worth about a dollar. Grading costs a minimum of 20 times that.
D. Set of 8 Coin Dies(4 front, 4 back). Gold Standard Corporation. Dated 1985. Denomination on one side. Historical figures from economics on the other side (Adam, Hazlitt, Hayek, and Harwood)
United States canceled dies can be worth 25 or 30 bucks. With these, I'd say may be worth five dollars if you can get it.

Wow I like it. Our focus is coins and jewelry. My rough estimate is about $1200. But dark furniture is out of fashion and very difficult to sell. If you are in the tri-state area we might be able to make arrangements to put it up at auction.

Both are very fine. Very hard to price the half because it might not get a numeric grade it may have some damage. My gut feeling is it's worth about $20.-25. It could be worth more but I'd have to see it in person. The cent is common and worth about three dollars, I'd say it's extra fine. You also have a half dollar worth about seven dollars.
