Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible.

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.

D. 1943 Copper/Bronze Wheat Penny.

This would be worth $50,000-100,000 if it wasn't a 1948 with half the 8 scraped off.

D. Hi, these are Jefferson nickels. Do they have any value?

All three are worth their face value of a nickel. The one on the upper left with the "P" is a wartime silver alloy, worth $1.30.

D. Hi, are any of these cents considered valuable?

jNo. They are in good condition, good grades. You might have to pay a dollar apiece to get them. However, selling them would not yield much.

D. Silver CESPANA 1945

The specimen shows surface damage and so it's really not worth more than the silver in it, which is probably about five dollars.

D. 1978 dime no mint

All coins came from a mint. If there's no mint mark it is Philadelphia.

D. For God King Edward Empire 24 May 1927

Medals are not big ticket items. This probably retails for $25.

D. Elizabeth II Dei-Gratia Britt omn-Regina-Fidei-Defensor Five Shillings

Copper nickel piece, we charge five dollars for these!

D. 1964 Tokyo 1000 Yen

This is a neat piece, silver. Worth about $20.

D. This is for a 1912s Philippine One Peso coin, United States Mint. Thank you!

Their equivalent of the silver dollar, worth about $15.
