Most inquiries we get are about circulated coins made after 1971, and/or coins where people mistake post-mint damage and wear for "errors". You can expect us to affirm these are face value. We ask that before you write and submit such questions, to PLEASE first read through our existing postings and our "what it's worth" primers.
Photo Criteria: Acceptable photo formats are gif, jpg, and png and no larger than 15 MB. If you are using an iPhone, make sure that the photo is not set to LIVE, as this format will be not be uploaded.

Commonly but mistakenly called "pennies," they are worth a cent.

How fun! As an antique, $35-45 or thereabouts. These have fallen out of favor as they are good at slicing off little fingers.

I love that old stuff! A fifty cent piece worth more like $50. Is the edge reeded, like a modern quarter with ridges, or smooth with letters inscribed? It makes a difference. 914-649-3317 if you want to cash in!

$8, mostly for the silver.

Worth about $8.
D. 1882 & 1885us one dollar
Probably $15; look under the eagle on the back for a mint mark. If you see a "cc" they are worth somewhat more.
D. 1916 penny
Well it's authentic and "good for the grade." Maybe worth a couple bucks on a good day!
