• I read that collectors are starting to be more interested in toned coins if naturally toned I have a few Lincoln Pennie's starting from 69-99 only missing a couple years in between is this true? and if so what's my best options to try to sell them

• Yes I have coins that my father left behind in a box. He wrote restrike on the cardboard not sure about the coin. I noticed that it seems printed odd in a few spots the IN for in god we trust are pretty much one punch together with no spacing, the D mint mark is filled in, and part of the lettering on the bottom isn't struck very well. T is hard to tell if it's a T in the middle. Just wanted to know if this was something to hold onto or get graded.

They are, but mostly for uncirculated silver. We don’t have any advice for selling common, modern coins.

Have you read what we have published about these things on our site? Because of the abundance of questions we get about post mint damage and generally low associated values we don’t address these things. Why don’t you bring it to a show or club. We will be at the upcoming Parsippany show. If your father really thought it was a great value he probably would’ve done more than leave it in a box for you to wonder.
